About

J. Sterling Morton Elementary opened in 1975 and is one of 25 elementaries in Millard Public Schools. We serve students in kindergarten through 5th grade. Currently, Morton is home to approximately 375 students and 45 staff members.

Morton is a close-knit community. We have a strong and dedicated PTA, a variety of enriching after-school clubs, partnerships with local businesses through our Partners for Education program, and many volunteer programs to support students, such as Teammates and Watch D.O.G.S.

Several special district programs are hosted at Morton, including ACP (Alternative Curriculum Program) and EL (English Learners).
